While we do not offer refunds for any tutoring services, we promise to work closely with you to address concerns, resolve issues, and provide solutions that meet your needs.

Please read the policy below to understand how we manage cancellations, missed sessions, plan changes, and service concerns.


1. No Refunds Policy

Matheaze Tutors maintains a strict no refunds policy for all tutoring services and academic support plans. This policy applies to:

  • Private, semi-private, and group tutoring packages
  • Monthly or prepaid subscription plans
  • Test prep services (SAT, ACT, PSAT, ISEE, ASVAB, etc.)
  • College preparation services
  • Homework help and academic coaching
  • Adult education programs (e.g., GED prep, college re-entry support)

Once a payment is made for a tutoring plan, service, or bundle, it is considered final. Refunds will not be issued under any circumstances, including:

  • Unused or partially used sessions
  • Changes in schedule or availability
  • Shifts in academic focus or subject
  • Dissatisfaction after sessions have begun
  • Missed sessions due to illness, travel, or other personal conflicts

We strongly encourage families to review the details of each plan carefully before purchasing. If you’re unsure which package is right for your child, we’re happy to provide a free consultation to help guide your decision.


2. Our Satisfaction Commitment

Even though we don’t offer refunds, your experience matters deeply to us. If you’re ever dissatisfied with any part of our service, please reach out. Our promise is simple: we will do everything within reason to make it right.

Depending on your concern, we may:

  • Reassign your child to a different tutor
  • Offer supplemental learning materials or practice exercises
  • Adjust your session schedule for greater flexibility
  • Extend additional time or support when appropriate
  • Provide personalized check-ins or parent updates

3. Session Rescheduling and Make-Up Policy

While refunds are not offered for missed sessions, we do offer flexible rescheduling and make-up options based on your plan type:

???? One-on-One Tutoring:

  • Sessions may be rescheduled with at least 24 hours’ notice
  • All make-up sessions must be completed within the same billing cycle
  • Rescheduling is subject to tutor availability

???? Semi-Private & Group Tutoring:

  • Sessions proceed as scheduled, even if one student is absent
  • Make-ups are only offered when all members of the group miss a session and reschedule together
  • Missed sessions for individual students in a group setting cannot be refunded or credited

We recommend consistent communication and advance notice to ensure the most flexibility in scheduling.


4. Plan Modifications and Upgrades

We understand that student needs evolve. While we do not provide refunds, we are happy to work with you to modify or upgrade your plan when possible. This may include:

  • Upgrading to a more comprehensive package (e.g., moving from Learn to Excel)
  • Adding additional sessions mid-month
  • Shifting from group to private tutoring (with adjusted pricing)
  • Changing subject areas (depending on tutor availability)

All plan modifications must be approved by our support team and are subject to scheduling and tutor availability. Additional charges may apply when upgrading to a higher-level package.


5. Technical Issues & Platform Support

For online tutoring sessions, Matheaze Tutors uses secure, reliable platforms to deliver virtual instruction. If technical issues (e.g., internet outages or platform errors) prevent a session from taking place:

  • We will reschedule the session at no additional cost
  • If the session is partially interrupted, we will provide additional time or content as needed
  • Families must notify us immediately if they experience ongoing technical difficulties

Our support team is happy to help troubleshoot platform-related concerns to ensure your child can continue learning without disruption.


6. Tutor Compatibility Guarantee

Finding the right tutor is key to a successful learning experience. If you feel that your assigned tutor isn’t the right fit for your child, please let us know. We will:

  • Review your concerns in a timely manner
  • Recommend another qualified tutor based on your needs
  • Make the transition smooth and seamless

While refunds are not offered, our priority is ensuring your child feels supported and motivated to succeed.
