Personalized ACT Preparation
ACT Tutoring
Prepare for the enhanced ACT with a plan built around the student’s current score, target, test date, section needs, and practice time.
Prepare for the Current ACT
The enhanced ACT is shorter and more flexible
The current ACT includes English, Math, and Reading, with optional Science and Writing. Composite scores are based on English, Math, and Reading. Students still need strong content knowledge, quick decisions, consistent pacing, and the ability to recover from difficult questions.
A Matheaze student reported earning an ACT score of 33 after personalized support. That result is evidence of what one student achieved—not a guarantee—but it reflects the value of targeted preparation and sustained effort.
What ACT tutoring can include
English
Grammar, punctuation, sentence structure, organization, style, and rhetorical decision-making.
Math
Number and quantity, Algebra, functions, Geometry, statistics, modeling, and efficient problem setup.
Reading
Key ideas, details, craft, structure, integration of information, passage strategy, and pacing.
Optional Sections
Science data interpretation, scientific reasoning, optional Writing, and decisions about which sections fit the student’s goals.
A Clear Process
Turn ACT goals into a focused plan
1. Review the baseline
Analyze current section scores, timing, accuracy, and question-level patterns.
2. Choose the test plan
Confirm dates, target score, optional sections, and whether preparation is full-test or focused.
3. Teach and practice
Combine content review, strategy, timed sets, and deliberate correction.
4. Track and adjust
Use new practice evidence to refine priorities, pacing, and test-day choices.
