Pick your pace
Easy: tables 1-6. Medium: 7-12. Hard: 13-99. The second number is always 1-12.
Level up as you go
Every 10 correct answers unlocks the next level, up to level 5. Each correct answer earns 10 × your current level in points.
Keep your streak
Every 5 correct answers in a row earns 25 bonus points. Wrong answers: Easy -1 second; Medium -5 points; Hard -1 second and -10 points. Skips: Hard -1 second only; no penalty on Easy or Medium. Either resets your streak. Scores never go below 0.
Privacy and fair play
Choose a screen name from our safe word lists. Do not enter a real name. No email, account or student profile is needed. Completed scores contain a generated nickname, difficulty, points, correct/attempt counts, level and completion time. The public ladder shows nickname, points, level and correct answers. Names can be reused by different players.
Scores expire after 90 days and older scores may be removed sooner to keep at most 100,000. Automatic cleanup runs when scheduled site tasks execute. A necessary, first-party session cookie lasts up to one day. Short-lived game-session and rate-limit records support fair play; the game does not store raw IP addresses. Normal website hosting logs and site-wide privacy settings still apply.
Scores are checked on the server, but automated solving cannot be fully prevented. This ladder is for practice and fun, not prizes or verified student rankings. If the connection fails, use Retry before leaving the page. Retrying the same answer does not award points twice.
